This is the angle drive unit on the transmission for the speedometer cable for a variety of British Cars. Used on All MGB's, Triumph TR4A, TR250, TR6, Spitfires with Overdrive, and Austin Healey BN4, BN6, BN7, BT7, BJ7, BJ8. Don't forget to re-use your old washer or the unit will fail rather quickly.
