This is a mechanical fuel pump for the Austin Healey Sprite 948, 1098 (10CG) and MG Midget 948 1098 (10CG).
Please note it is industry standard for fuel pumps to contain a preservative solvent coating. This may smell similar to fuel, but is used only to keep your part in good working order and is not indicative of the pump having been previously used.
