This is a driveshaft (propeller shaft) that has an overall length of 31.125 inches. The drive shaft will fit many different years of cars so please double check the length of the driveshaft you are replacing before order. It has been our finding that the length of 31.125 is correct for the MGB 1962 to 1966 with an overdrive transmission, MGB 1965 to 1967 with the standard four speed transmission. Then from the MGB's from 1968 to 1980 all used this driveshaft both overdrive and four speed transmission. Cross reference 268-090.
