This is an MG TD Luggage rack. These are high quality reproductions of the racks made by Doretti in the 1950's. This is a reproduction of the 1950’s accessory rack that was produced by Doretti and sold in the heyday of the MGTD by several different companies, most notably RUNYON in Los Angeles. For this reason, it has become known over the years as a “Runyon” rack. Our quality reproduction is chrome plated stainless steel, with a show quality finish. The brackets are unfinished stainless, which the owner may paint or polish, their preference. It mounts easily with simple hand tools, no cutting or modification of the car is required. The real beauty of this rack is the ease with which it can be folded out or retracted. It is pretty much an one-handed operation, with no braces to move and re-attach.
